Since this is the time to gripe about time, I could justify one-world time. That way, if someone said call me at this time, there could be no confusion.
Time was, people I knew set their system time to UTC and have the switch to local time in userland.
There are problems, starting with beats, but the system is less problematic to me than the current system.
