There was a time before Kinkos. Then there was Kinkos, when Word, etc, made it easy to generate content but decent printers were still pricy and difficult. Now, Kinkos is a FedEx mailbox with printers and copiers as a sideline.
Clearly, we are currently in the time before 3D-Kinkos. CAD-CAM software is still in the $1000 range for most purposes. But I think we're only just pre-3D-Kinkos, which makes me wonder if renting a storefront and buying a 3D printer or three makes sense today. Thoughts?
